When do I pay for the session?
Your session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your day. If a session needs to be rescheduled, the fee can be used towards next session. Rescheduled sessions must be made at least 24 hours in advance and rescheduled within 3 months. If the session is canceled and not rescheduled, the session fee will not be returned.
How long does a session last?
You should expect a newborn session to take around four hours, so please be prepared to make yourselves comfortable! I take the baby's lead. I allow plenty of time for feeds and baby will tend to feed more than normal during the session. Getting baby to sleep after each feed takes time too; making sure they are snugly and comfortable. All the posing done during the session is slow so as not to disturb baby whise they sleep.
A normal session takes around one to two hours, however it also depends on the type of session you would like. You may want an all studio or outdoor location shoot or a mixture of the two. This is one of the beauties of custom portrait photography it works around you and your family.
Children should be ready at the start of our session.
How many photographs will you take?
It is not uncommon for me to take up to 200 photographs during a session. Once the session is complete, I will go through them and carefully choose between 30 and 50 that are the best. The chosen photographs will be edited and placed in an online gallery to view. The rest will be deleted.
When will my online gallery be ready?
I will have your fully edited images posted in an online gallery within 2 weeks of your session date. An email will be sent to you with links and information for ordering. You can also click on the "Clients" tab at the bottom of the Chase Grace Photography website. Typically your gallery will be put online around 1-2 weeks after the session. I will send you links to both the sneak peek and the gallery as soon as I post them.
How long do I have to order my pictures?
Orders should be placed within a month of your gallery being published. Your online gallery stays active for 30 days - after this time there is a $50 fee for reloading.
When do I pay for prints?
Prints are paid for at time of ordering. When you order the prints online you will be able to pay via paypal. The payment must be received before I place your order.
When will I receive my order?
Within two weeks of ordering. I place my order when payment is received. They will then be available for pick up at your convenience.
What if my child misbehaves?
I am a mom and trust me - my children misbehave. All children do. No worries. I will do what I can to make them comfortable and get everyone back on track. I often play along with them and sometimes all they need is a little time.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. Payments can be made with credit card through a secure paypal account.
